Well the previous night believe it or not I woke up at around 3 with the worse migrane/headache ever, and only fell asleep at around 5 after succumbing and popping maybe 5 panadols? gosh. Sunday morning I then went for mass at St Dunstan’s-in-the-Highlands. It’s a really nice smallish church, a beautiful setting in a wooded area with a friendly congregation. It’s wonderful: it’s also where I’ll be practising during my stay in Seattle.
Sunday afternoon I then travelled down to the Seattle downtown all the way from Northgate (where I’m staying) which is like a terminal to terminal ride and took maybe 3/4s of an hour. The Seattle public transport system really isn’t too bad, for what is probably endless suburbia: the buses were nice and clean, and I didn’t meet any unsavory folks. Still, I’m really missing my car!
We went to walk around Pike place: which was CROWDED! I hate crowded places (as most of you know) and thus really didn’t enjoy the whole walk around it. Give me a supermarket any time (O dear… lol)
I’m still loving my Macbook Air
